Update.

I haven’t been on this blog in a very long time. I still get e-mails everyday cuz you guys still re-blog my stuff, thank you so much :)

I’ve been really busy. The band and school and of course the wedding have really taken up most of my time.

Good news is I’ve been sticking to my weight loss really well.

I’m not sure what weight I was at last time I updated here, but as of yesterday I’m 167.8

I’m so proud of myself.

Today I found a picture of me last September at my Aunt’s wedding, I was at my starting weight, 198 lbs.

I took that photo and made a little “before and after” with a photo of me in my old too-big pants that I took about a week ago. Here it is:

Yup.

I still want to lose at least 20-25 more lbs, but I feel so much better physically and emotionally. 

I don’t know if you can really tell from the newer photo, but I cut all my hair off :)

It’s super short and easy to style and I’m in love.

The wedding is less than a month away and I am SO excited.

We’ve still got a TON of work to do though.

I’ll probably make a more wedding oriented post sometime soon, but not today.

Weigh In..Monday?

Hi everyone.

I’m writing this today because I know, once again, I didn’t update last week.

For the past couple weeks, I was stuck at the same weight. I was incredibly frustrated.

The scale went up and down between 176 and 177 for what seemed like FOREVER.

Over the weekend G and I stayed at her mom’s house, and I ate HORRIBLY. Like, homemade macaroni and cheese, chips, and french toast. It was bad. Oh, and then I had pretzels and sandwiches from the mall food court, and had donuts and popcorn for a snack. Oops. 

So today, I got on the scale assuming I was going to be still at the same place, if not all the way back to 178 or 179.

Nope!

Here’s the stats:

 Starting weight: 196.8

Last weeks weight: 176.8

This weeks weight: 175.6

Goal weight: 150

Total pounds lost so far: 21.2

I’m in shock, really.

Other good news is that I’m getting a membership to the YMCA in my town, this whole time I’ve been driving about 20 minutes away to work out. I’m so excited because this means I’ll be able to work out more than twice a week and G will be a member too so she can come with me!! 

So, I finally got the courage to post a before and after pic today.

The first photo is from January 14th, so I had already lost a little weight (I still hate myself for not taking pictures before I did ANYTHING, but oh well) 

The second picture is from today, March 28th..

so here we go:

yup. There it is. I’m really proud of myself. I’m not where I want to be yet, but I feel so much healthier and confident.

Weigh in Wednesday

Hi everyone.

Sorry for not updating this last week..things a re still really hectic and I don’t exactly have a working computer most of the time so it’s been really hard to update this blog.

Anyway, I’ve been slacking a little bit the past two weeks, not too bad, but soda and lack of exercise has been involved.

Somehow, I’ve still lost weight, so here’s the stats:

Starting weight: 196.8

Last weeks weight: 179.6

This weeks weight: 176.8

Goal weight: 150

Total pounds lost so far: 20!

Weigh in Wednesday

Hey everyone!

First of all, sorry I haven’t been around much lately. Things have been going super crazy with my band (did I mention I’m in a band? Click HERE to check us out) and I haven’t had a lot of time to get on here.

Anyway, stats for this week:

Starting weight: 196.8

Last weeks weight: 182.2

This weeks weight: 179.6

Goal weight: 150

Total pounds lost so far: 17.2

WOOOO!

Finally in the 170’s

I’m so happy. I was expecting to still be around 180 today, because last week I slacked..ALOT. 

I’m talking mexican food, soda, chips, all that bad stuff..but obviously, by some miracle I still lost!

I’m starting to think I might be 5-6 pounds off on the wedding day..I’ve been losing roughly 8 lbs a month, so by June I’ll probably be 155-ish.

I guess that’s all for now, I gotta go finish cooking my dinner (whole wheat spaghetti? YUM)
